<p style="text-align: justify;">Depressions are of many types like anxiety, exams, pregnancy, seasonal and many other types. Today we’ll discuss seasonal depression. Seasonal depression is something that happens to a person each year at the same time. Many people are suffering from seasonal treatment. Whenever the season changes people are suffering and when changed they are back to in normal life.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">A normal person can also feel the symptoms of seasonal depression like feel sadness and anxiety, lack of energy, some will withdrawal from social activities and the inability to concentrate on things. In some cases, the symptoms are so strong that the person can’t control over him. They need to have help in getting back their life and feeling normal.<span id="more-88"></span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">In some cases, people get fatty on these periods because they will eat and eat more because they feel better. The food is a substitute for the things that they are lacking in their life. They will use the food as a method of feeling better and getting their life back on tracks the way that they want it to be. Even people don’t know that they are suffering from seasonal depression.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Some other symptoms of seasonal depression are fatigue, increased feeling of needing sleep, not properly concentrate on things. Some people will want to be left alone while others dread having everyone leave them and being by themselves.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Seasonal depression is not a big disease. According to survey report, maximum windows and widowers are facing this type of depression because they are alone and difficult to pass time. It is a sad time in their life to go through holidays or certain parts of the year without the ones that they love so much. They may have fond memories but still wish their loved ones were there with them.</p>

Depression occurs due to many things like your lifestyle, your food habits, atmosphere and many more. In this article, we’ll discuss about which food to take in depression and which not. One of the best therapy to get rid off depression is to eat. There are feel-good foods out there that could surely change your mood.</p>
<p>So what type of food would you eat? You&#8217;ll find a list of food below that is suggested by food experts.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Food to take:</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>1. </strong>Salmon: Take cold water fish such as salmon because it contains omega-3 fatty acids which keep cell membranes pliable and flexible.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>2. </strong>Try to take soy milk, oatmeal, and two scrambled eggs. This meal will give you 500 milligrams of tryptophan, an amino acid that&#8217;s a precursor for the neurotransmitter serotonin, the brain&#8217;s feel-good hormone.<span id="more-84"></span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>3. </strong>Vitamin B: Try to take food which contains vitamins B because it has a positive effect on the mood of a person. This is the reason why a sweet potato or a spinach salad often has your spirits uplifted. It’s always better to start having vegetables and fruits and like spinach, asparagus, avocados, sweet potatoes, navy beans, bananas, black beans, watermelon, etc, along with whole-wheat breads &amp; meats.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>4. </strong>Iron: If you feel sullen and morose all the time, it is possible that you are suffering from iron deficiency. Apart from pale skin, lethargy and low concentration, depression or low mood is another symptom of iron-deficiency anemia. In this case, always try to take food which contains rich in Iron like apples, legumes, fortified cereals, quinoa, kale and other green leaf vegetables, along with vitamin C-rich food items like lemon juice.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>5. </strong>Carbohydrates: According to studies, people who have are taking diet which has high in carbohydrates are able to handle stress in a much better way than those who consume foods low in carbohydrates. It is believed that carbohydrate diet raises the level of tryptophan in the brain, which helps the body in making serotonin, the &#8220;happy&#8221; neurotransmitter. So, next time you feel too bogged down by work pressure, try having white bread, cereals, pasta, rice, potatoes, and the like.</p>

1. Try to avoid Red meat.</p>

3. Avoid processed foods contain refined flour and give you high doses of sugar but lack critical nutrients.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">In modern life, it’s full of hassles, frustrations, and demands. Today everyone is in stress, anxiety or depression. Everyone experiences stress at times &#8211; adults, teens, and even kids. In these days, kids are taking too much tension due to their hectic schedule, schools, tests and pressure of mam’s, parents and many other factors.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Basically, stress is a feeling that&#8217;s created when we react on a particular event. It is a state of an organism where he perceived that his well being is endangered and that he must direct all his energies to its protection. It&#8217;s the body&#8217;s way of rising to a challenge and preparing to meet a tough situation with focus, strength, stamina, and heightened alertness. Stress is a normal physical response to events that make one feel threatened or upset the balance in some way. Stress occurs when pressure exceeds one’s perceived ability to cope. Left unmanaged when it prevails upon us it gives us stressful mode of life.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">When we talk about the term &#8216;Exam Stress&#8217;, it means anxiety over one&#8217;s performance in the exams, the results and reaction of parents and friends; all weigh upon students to create exam stress. In this situation, parents play important role and also they are the best counselor. There are many ways through which you can help your child. In this article, you know how to help you child in time of exams.<span id="more-28"></span></p>
<ul style="text-align: justify;">
<li>As a parent, first you have to pay attention towards to your child, talk to them and try to encourage your child</li>
<li>Never pay too much attention or keep over expectations. Always try to be affectionate, supportive, and a study partner in their academic activities. Parents should keep things in perspective.</li>
<li>After each exam, encourage the child must encouraged to talk through with the parents. So that the focus can be move on the next test, rather than dwelling on things that can’t be changed.</li>
<li>Spend some time with your child each day and discuss the things and reassure that you are always with him/her to support and encourage.</li>
<li>This is especially for mothers – focus on your child diet, try to give nutrition food instead of junk food. So, a balanced diet with lots of fruits and vegetables and low fat, low-sugar, and low-caffeine foods that increase memory power should be planned according to the food choices of the child.</li>
<li>One more thing you have to take care, your child is sleeping well for about 6-8 hours. This helps in increasing the thinking and concentration power of the child.</li>
<li>The child must be reminded that nervousness is a common phenomenon for every student. The child must be explained that nervousness can make him/her lose confidence and the key is to set these nerves to activist use.</li>
<li>During exams, do some other activities so that your child mind becomes fresh so that he/she can learn more quickly.</li>
<li>Never set rules for studying; parents must allow their child to go with his/her schedule while studying. Instead, they may assist their child in drawing up a regular study time schedule.</li>
